To me this sounds like a dev is officially replying that "Yes you won't be able to use the engine at all (not even the tutorials) if you don't purchase a sub."
I have been on and off lately so i hope that this is only lack of comprehension of the matter on my end.

Also my opinion is that a platform with 70+ million customers deserved the time to make a few basic/introductory tutorial vids along with a nice engine feature vid showcasing the ability of the engine so that it's not left open for anyone to question.

Finally i also think that the landscape vid feels terribly mute and void of purpose as a first thing to see. I think it would feel much more fitting and informative if just a part of it was included in a "Achieved with Esenthel" type of video along with parts from the rest of the many nice creations done with the engine but again that's only my opinion.

Yes Esenthel and im not trying to point out how you should reply or do your job in general but im just saying that the engine is full featured and perfectly usable even if you dont have an active sub, you just should not use it to develop stuff intended for commercial or non commercial publication and this should have probably being the answer because as i see it the guy was probably thinking that the engine's functionality was locked behind a paywall or something which is not the case.

Ah, I see, thanks for the clarification. Well there are many incorrect information placed in the reviews, and some user comments, I don't want to be spending my time saying "no, this is incorrect.." The income from Steam is not big enough to fight with every comment out there, I'd rather just spend my time on improving the engine

The comments on steam is indeed quite unfair. But mainly comming from persons with non programmer background which is the wrong target audience anyway. So I wouldn't worry to much

Again as i said in earlier posts this is only my opinion and i may be wrong but the way the steam launch was and is still handled is not equal to the huge opportunity that is offered by a platform with such a big audience. The success of a product doesn't only have to do with the quality of the product itself but also with the necessary marketing that accompanies it and the way it is presented to the possible costumer.

That said i believe that a month or two dedicated in making a couple of features/showcase videos and 2-3 introductory tutorial or minigame development series even though they would have been of no real use to me or anyone from the existing Esenthel community, they would have been beneficial for the new customer and thus for the engine itself in the long run.

Again i might be wrong but this is my opinion.

Is it possible to get a key for steam version alongside version through here?

If you buy from Esenthel Website, then you can use the license key for steam edition as well.

Is there a way to link a Steam License with Website license? because I just purchase the Steam version but it seems outdated and can't open project made with website version.
