STAR allows users to create their accounts by providing their email address and password, they're transmitted using a secure manner over HTTPS and stored on STAR server.
Additionally users can optionally specify in which country they're located, their gender and age, this information is not shared with anyone unless the user specifically agrees to, however this information may be used to display targetted advertisements.
STAR is a social network application, and allows users to make posts and upload photos, by default these posts are visible to everyone else using STAR.
