Nah.. it's not a beginners engine obviously.
It's very condensed and powerful and difficult to document properly.
If you want hand holding, try a better documented engine to learn the basics which can be applied EASILY it to EE.

Saying that, you can start your own blog/youtube/wiki site and document it yourself while you learn.

Wise words, thank you sir, I haven't heard such words except from one of those famous quotes from famous people.

Having an official user Wiki would be pretty cool. When someone figures something out, they have the option to update the wiki.

There used to be some user made contributions to the wiki but it seems they are all gone(deleted).
