heres what I'd like to see in esenthel (heavy specularity)
I should have posted this a while ago but seeing as how esenthel is already pretty state of the art theres a graphical feature I'd love to see in it.

Its object lighting but also a bloom effect. Basically heavy specular lighting that changes with the angle its viewed at. I dont know how difficult it would be to establish this effect but just to get an idea I've provided some links to a few examples.

Heres a lighting engine that a friend of mine engineered. In my own personal opinion this is the only thing keeping esenthel from being the foremost authority in the graphics department. Graphic lighting like this combined with esenthel's already implemented framework could do great things,.....

First, heres a basic video of what I mean by heavy specular lighting. Look at how the light shines and glimmers on the second wall in this vid.

And heres the lighting and bloom examples in the game Spectraball. The video is on the right side. Click any 3 of them. Pay close attention to the way the light corresponds with the object reflections.

So in short, is there a possibility of this sort of thing being coded into esenthel?

well yeah, I think it's already there
for the specular you just need to set "sp" slider in the Material Edit window in Mesh Editor
but reflecting the light from the wall.. I'll add it to the list, thanks for the idea

not only the light on the wall but a slightly visible reflection of the object on other surfaces also. But yeah thats the basic idea.

You mean, like, creating a 'wet' surface?
