skeleton problem?
i have made some test character, and rigged it in the mesh editor, but for some reason my mesh doesnt seem to follow the bones when i try to animate it, in my code... i even tried to copy, and change the code for the "Animation" tutorial, just to make sure that i didnt type anything wrong.
do i have to connect the bones to the mesh or something?

in advance: Thanks grin

Re: skeleton problem?
1. create the bones
2. the mesh needs to be skinned with bones, you can use for start "menu\skeleton\set automatic skinning"
3. optionally you can use "vertex paint mode"
4. resave the mesh

Re: skeleton problem?
thanks that helped grin
it just act kinda wired to the standart animations, but i suppose thats because i dont have all the bones?
i dont have shoulders fx. and i dont have stuff like feet, and hands...

this is how it reacted to the ready animation:

its sorta the same for walk and run...

Re: skeleton problem?
yes this most likely is because you dont have all the bones

you could make your skeleton much easier -

1. load already supplied in the engine sample skeletons
2. and adjust it only for your custom mesh, by moving the bones to align them as the mesh is
