Problem with alpha maps when normal mapping is applied
Hi, I have a little problem with rendering quality of model which has aplha maps and normal maps applied, the edges looks very sharpy.
Here is the image how It looks like when rendering in 3ds max :

Then I'm exporting the model with OpenCollada exporter and when It has no normal maps applied in 3ds max It looks ok after importing:

but when I apply the normal maps in material settings in 3ds max It looks like this after importing to mesh editor:

Also I have noticed that importing the collada format, do not import specular level map to mesh editor

RE: Problem with alpha maps when normal mapping is applied
this is due to texture compression (you can disable the compress button and drag and drop the textures again - png, jpg)

if you dont want to disable compression adjusting the alpha bar in material properties can help (set to half)

opencollada does not export specular power information, I've filed request for it, but its not yet available
