The downloadable version Penumbra Collection is on sale right now at Amazon.com for $2.50. This includes Penumbra Overture, Penumbra Black Plague, and Requiem Expansion Pack.

you should note that the Humble Frozenbyte bundle gives the source code to shadowgrounds and shadowgrounds survivor and the prototype game they was developing at some point jack claw, while not allowed to sell the modified code builds, you could possibly learn something that can be used for your game. ; )

I also got Metro 2033 at 50% off.

It's a fantastic game! I can recommend it to anyone who has but the slightest interest in post-apocalyptic settings.
Also, it's a great example on how you could design your levels. Much kudos to everyone who worked on that game.

i switched to playing free browser games some time ago to save some money... there are really good ones like battlestar galactica online or soccerstar! i also like the mmo part.
