RE: Sci-Fi Benchmark
I can not run this demo, the error I am receiving is:
Error loading ShaderTech "VolDir6C" in Shader "Volumetric Lights".

The platform I tried to run demo on is Asus laptop with:
Intel Pentium Dual Core T3200 @ 2.0GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 (ATI Catalyst driver version 10.2.)
Windows XP SP3.

Since, as you know, laptop manufacturers do not frequently update graphics drivers, I can not find the latest Catalyst version.

Used to have Mobility ATI Laptop, I recommend NEVER using the ones from your manufacturer. I highly recommend following the installation guide of the ATI Mobility Modder at: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/modtool.php

as the drivers released straight from ATI are vastly superior, game performance wise, to the ones released by any notebook manufacturer.

Additionally, I highly recommend doing the same thing for Laptop users with NVidia cards with http://www.laptopvideo2go.com

UNLESS you have a dual integrated + dedicated graphics card system running, e.g. Intel GMA + Nvidia Geforce XXXX.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately the latest version of the ATI Mobility Modder is outdated and cannot mod Catalyst driver past 9.x. However, I managed to find somewhere else a modded driver ver 10.12 and after installing it the demo succesfully started. Though It runs a slide show on my machine 3.9 FPS @ 1280x800 :(

PS. Same story with C4, I think it is time to purchase a new laptop wink
