Some blocks optimalization?

Some blocks optimalization?
I'll try with the blocks thingy again... :-)

Can't it really be optimized somehow? I've tried to render physics (1'st screen) and wireframe mesh alone (2'nd screen) and it seems that there are many unnecessary triangles left. So many, that maybe a lot of them can be merged - the big, brown walls are nearly solid and have hundreds of tris.
Please, can you look into it? smile

Because it's quite important for me (still trying), I've thought, that maybe some automatic LOD generation would be possible, to optimize the blocks performance?

Changing the size (dimension) of a cube (including physics) would also be nice :-)

I agree. I also notice (in Wireframe) that the blocks do not occlude one another.

Yep, that's true.
Blocks feature has a great potential (especially now, when it's quite popular to make thousands of Minecraft clones :-)), it still needs some optimization though.
