Texture backface culling cant be switched off for blended ground textures
As the title says: It seems there is a weird bug in EE that prevents Backface culling on ground tiles on which different Textures are blended.

Example below... I always have a single Texture at 1.0f opacity, the blended areas are solely the autoblending EE does for different textures lying next to each other. I switched off backface culling for all 3 ground textures I use currently.

Seen from Above (Pic 1) All looks nice and dandy.... If you drive the camera just below the ground though and look up, you can see that the Engine doesn't do backface culling for the vertices in which Texture blending takes place.... you can see backface patches from all 3 textures, but along the edges of the patches are areas where the backface culling doesn't seem to work.

The effect is, that some Sunlight shines through the Ground and unto objects placed on the map even when the sun should be blocked by the terrain completly.

Any idea what could be done? Is it a bug?

I will change it.
However as for the shadows for multi materials they do get adjusted if you set all material culling

This part I don't quite understand. If you mean that all materials involved need to have culling switched off, thats what I did.

about shadows: yes, and it should work without waiting for next SDK with the change
