RE: importing animated textures
How are your "animated images" structured?

Man, it's always that semicolon...

RE: importing animated textures
The normal map is a 9 x 10 grid. The texture is in fact not animated; it is just a trick with the normal map by looping through each of the grids (90 in total) pfft

Animated UV's can be done in Esenthel... I thought TBJokers used it before in his project smile

Besides: why even bother doing that while Esenthel Engine can do it even better? (including some more realistic water than that that actually goes up and down!)

RE: importing animated textures
thanks for the help dwight. I'm completely new to this engine, and making games is also new to me. I've been a modeler and a modder for Oblivion for a few years. I want to step into the world of actual game makeing. so please be patient with me if i seem a little dumb to game making.
I'm glad to hear that normal map looping can be done, because I'm sure I'll need it eventually, somewhere in my game.
I agree, Esenthel water is very impressive. but i dont like how blue it is for everything, so I'm going to have to find a way to change it.
onto another subject that im going to post later, is that I'm trying to import my own models into the game. I successfully have my object in the world editor but when i press play build to play the game, my object, (an aloe plant), doesn't show up in the actual game play. could somebody help me?
here are the links to my files:
Direct X file: http://www.mediafire.com/?2a0kx8bbvrzxp6p
bump map: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?90yu7cuw66ssq8y#
normal map: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?99r6t5xw5mtpeli#

I'm hoping someone will look into it. maybe tell me if the model i made worked for them. also anybody can freely use my model. it is a high polygon model so i suggest anybody using it, dont use it often.
