RE: advice
Calm down.

My advice:

If you need Esenthel editor as colaborative tool, buy esenthel 2.0 for each member involved.

If you only need a license for build the release (since your game is almost finished) Buy 1.0.

Is this true?

RE: advice
I have the 2.0 editor. it isn't very complete. I bought it because i know that my team will be able to transfer all of the program files into the 2.0 because that part of it is compatible. but the 1.0 and the 2.0 editor will not be integrated into one engine. I know this is a little confusing, but what im trying to say is that you cant take a world file in the 1.0 and then transfer it into the 2.0 editor. I begged the Esenthel guy to do it....lol. but he's not going to. So, build your programming side in the 1.0 make a good rough draft of your game in the 1.0. If the 2.0 gets finished by the time you get a good rough draft, then get the 2.0 and build a new world file. all you would have to do is, use the same codes lines that you wrote, use the same models, but start building the terrain again, but in a more serious manner. if he doesnt get the 2.0 done in time for you to push the landscape of your game to the next level, then go ahead and finish your game in the 1.0 even with the 1.0 engine, you can make a AAA game in this engine. my strong side is being a modeler as well. but i do have a programmer. a very good one at that. skype me sometime if you ever want to to do a project together in the future.
my name on skype is Anastasious Shatterstar
Good Luck!

That's not what he said at all. You asked for a full integration for the 1.0 into the 2.0 editor, and to that he said "No.".

But you will be able to import all of your data files from 1.0 to 2.0 (which includes worlds)

RE: advice
for some reason Tottel, i couldnt do it. but then again, i didnt spend much time with 2.0 I don't know if you've seen it, but the set up is wayyyyyyy different. so i gave up on it within a few min. doesnt mean I'm not going to learn it, i just dont want to mess with it much right now. All of my time and energy has to go to finishing my game. But anyway, Tottel, that's the best news that I've heard in a long time. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

RE: advice
You can't import from 1.0 to 2.0 yet because it's not done yet.
But it will be available in final release of 2.0
