My slightly crappy Ocean
This is my attempt at making an ocean, using the materials that come with Esenthel 1.0 ...lol

Actually that doesn't look too bad! If you were only using an 'at sea' scene once in your game you could probably get away with that and just assume the conditions were very calm.

There are plenty of info on ocean shader techniques available on the web though ... which would give you better ocean graphics if you can find a willing 'shader' programmer to write one for you or conversely wait to see what Greg comes up with when he revisits this on the roadmap.

looks good to me! smile Esenthel's water is pretty cool as it is so with some more tweaking it can be even cooler.

Looks good, however the fresnal of the waves needs to be alot... more white if you have a "sun"
This is what I achieved with my own Reflect, Normal and Diffuse maps.
