RE: Abbey of Stratha FINISHED!!!
That looks really good!

I think you should add a few little defects to it though. Maybe some crumbling on the embrasures, towers that bow or lean slightly, beveled corners if possible, that type of stuff. A professional artist recommended these to me years back when I was taking a 3D modeling class: "Perfection screams fake. And those corners? You would cut yourself if you walked too close!" He demonstrated, and it made a big difference. I'd like to see your abbey gain that sense of realism.

Rebeus has a point, that level of detail does bring a whole new level of realism but I don't want to take away from what a fantastic job you've done with this. Very impressive!

If I wanted to do realism...I would be a photographer. hehe. But in all seriousness...some of my buildings will look new...some of them old...some of them in between. This is a new a building...that is why it looks new. I will post some old ruins, and old houses that are falling apart in the near future. smile thank you for the advice.

Thanks Scarlet Thread...oh, and if you come back here again, I just want to tell you that I watched one of your tutorials last night and it really helped me a lot. Greg should make your tutorials official. He should link them on the EE website. They are that good! Keep it up!

RE: Abbey of Stratha FINISHED!!!
Yes. I am determined to finish my game. It will at least take 2 more years before I get finished. So maybe 2 or 3 years down the road you will get to walk through it. smile
Hopefully, I will get lucky and find some people to join my team. smile
