Esenthel 1 mesh editor questions
Hello, I know this is way outdated and no longer supported, but I like using it anyway to edit some models/skeletons to make sure they'll work in EE 2.0 also.

However, I've ran into some issue rigging the skeleton to armour meshes.
I looked through old posts, but all liks seemed to be broken.
Is there anything left explaining how that skeleton editor works?

I'd just like some explanations as to what all those options do - when I set smooth skinning from one bone, and then from another, will both versions be merged for example? How can I tell?

Are there any tutorials about this still available somewhere?

Hi

Smooth skinning from bone overwrites any previous skin setting so it is not merged.
You can see skinning by displaying vertexes using V key and hovering over skeleton bones.
The 1.0 editor does not include manual adjustments of skinning though.
There will be a simple version of skin assignment in 3.0, very simple for now as more advanced will come later.
3.0 already has a mesh editor.

Basic skinning editor is now available in the source.
It will be available in the next 3.0 binary release as well.
