hi, Grzegorz, what do you use to development DX11?ATI or NVIDIA?
hi
I plan to buy ATI 5770 but I beware of compatibility problems.
I hope to be consistent with your platform, so as not to run into other problems

RE: hi, Grzegorz, what do you use to development DX11?ATI or NVIDIA?
Hello,
Right now I'm working with DX11 feature level 10_0 which works on DirectX 10 cards.
In few days I'm finishing with DX10, and then only what's left is to implement Tesselation for DX11 (this could be done on reference rasterizer - still without having DX11 card).
I will be buying a DX11 card in the next few days. New GeForce's 400 have just been released, so I'm waiting to see their performance/price comparison against Radeons.
However GeForces probably provide a neat feature for 3D Vision (nvidia specialized glassess which give you real stereoscopic view like in cinema's, but that also requires 120Hz LCD) so I'm more towards buying GeForce at the moment.
But when it comes to compatibility I think that Radeon's and GeForce should work with the same stability.

RE: hi, Grzegorz, what do you use to development DX11?ATI or NVIDIA?
I've finally decided to go with Radeon 5850
This review convinced me http://www.hardocp.com/article/2010/03/2...i_review/7
it's much more quiet, use less power, cheaper and has similar performance to geforce 470
main disadvantage is that 3d vision won't work.
I've got the card, its working good so improvements to dx10+ renderer are on the way.
