Noob Modelling Question
Esenthel supports physX & bullet, both of which have plug-ins for Maya. Esenthel supports .dae animations & meshes which you can export from Maya.
From my understanding of the physics engines extensions in Maya you can do things like collision detection, fluid physics etc. So lets say I want to have one of my models from Maya have gibs & gore & do the collision detection & animations within Maya, I'm guessing I have to export these as .dae into esenthel?
Does anyone here work with Maya or have any kind of experience with importing models & textures from it?
Is it possible for esenthel to support more file formats like .ma, .max, .lxo etc?

you can import only models from maya (collada dae), but no physics

nope, im thinking only of adding fbx, however always when I test it under max, it seems unstable

RE: Noob Modelling Question
Isn't it possible to make a second (simplified) model on top of your actual model; export it as .dae and then import it as a physics hull in the model viewer?
That's how I did it in 3dsMax anyway.
