Question(s) about PhysX
Hello,
I'm currently playing with PhysX 3.2 and there is one thing which I can't imagine to yourself. As I see actors are created from shapes (one shape using constructor and others using createShape method), each shape can have it's own material but class for shapes has setMaterials method which allows set more than one material to shape. How it could be possible that single shape can have few material? There is only one of them active at any given time and I can switch them durign app life?
I wrote it here because I can't find anything helpful on the web and I think that here I can suspect faster answer than somewhere on nvidia community

RE: Question(s) about PhysX
I think it's probably related to allowing mesh (triangle mesh) shapes to have different materials for different triangles, although I'm not sure as I don't support this in the engine.

RE: Question(s) about PhysX
Thanks for the answer. Because I currently don't need triangle mesh shapes I'll ignore that.
