Did you use an individual or company enrollment type at the Apple developer program? We don't have that D-U-N-S business number yet. In the FAQ it says that one can convert an individual acccount to a company account by contacting thier support.

Did anyone do that and what were your experiences with it?

i had a company account for a few years and it took them a few weeks to respond to me when i applied
