Importing Skeleton/Animation
Heya,
I'm working on a completley new project, to get some more knowledge with this engine before I start making some bigger projects.
I've made a Spider model with a skeleton and I've also done quite a few animations being;
Movement
Idle
Attack 1
Attack 2
Hit 1
Hit 2
Threat 1
Death 1
Death 2
And I made this is 3ds Max 9, is it possible somehow to import these into the EsenthelEngine? Instead of making the skeleton and animations from scratch in the Mesh Editor?
Thanks in advance!
Sincerely,
Dealman

RE: Importing Skeleton/Animation
Check the Wiki:
Just export them and drag the file into the Mesh Editor.
::Import::

RE: Importing Skeleton/Animation
I know I'm bumping an old thread, but may I ask where/how you stored all those animations? Did you use sepearte files or do you have one long animation sequence with all these sub-sequences?

RE: Importing Skeleton/Animation
EE requires animations to be stored in separate files

RE: Importing Skeleton/Animation
So have have to have separate files in max already? What if you want to change one little detail on the model? You'll have to do all the animations again, wouldn't you?
Or is there (in max) a way to use a mesh as a reference from another file?

RE: Importing Skeleton/Animation
