I am wondering if anyone else has had a problem with Esenthel and OSX 10.8 Mountian Lion. I try to open the editor and get a black screen then a crash. Is there anything that can be done?

I have no problems using the editor under mountain lion.
I assume you're using the latest SDK?

However, mountain lion only works with the latest version of Xcode, and the project files supplied with Esenthel need modification to compile under the new version of Xcode.

Thank you for reporting the issue. I don't have moutain lion yet installed so I can't test it by myself.
Can you let me know if you were successful in using the Editor in earlier versions of OS X?
Does the Editor generate any message box or log text file in the app folder upon exiting? If so could you please attach them?
