License 5% royalties clarification
I know the license is already crystal clear:
Quote:COST
There's a 5% royalty fee - calculated from the total amount of game/app income,
and not from the amount that online digital store has transferred to you.
Example: when selling on Steam, Valve share is 30%, Esenthel share is 5%, Your share is 65%. //...
But just to make sure:
- it's 5% on top of ANY revenue?
- without a minimum threshold?
- and before taxes?
So, if my game sells only US$ 50, you get 5% regardless, before tax and before other cuts? So for example, it's not as permissive as UE's where the threshold is US$1M in sales before Epic gets the 5% cuts down.
Not saying it should be the same, but asking for clarification to avoid confusion.
Thanks.
