Hi Esenthel - Hi community,
i just stumbled upon this good looking engine and read some about the upcoming network/multiplayer functionalities ( MMOFPS).

Is it possible to use the existing low socket implementation with Darkstar Project or Raknet?

hello, if you're thinking about using external networking libraries then I think that they handle sockets manually (no need to use engine's sockets).

as for the built-in network support in the engine which will be in development, it will not handle "MMO" games (for now only ~1-32 players are considered)

I was looking for something about 500 nodes :/

But please post here if you think this can be done with manual external networking.

I was talking only about multiplayer support which will be in development in the future.

using custom/manual networking you can do whatever you want (there are already 2 MMORPGS in development on EE using custom networking)
