FBX support :
Hi,
Esenthel is a great engine and cheap.
What i don't like is the restricted skeleton system.
Will it be in V2 to simply import the FBX model, and just call animation names to play them ? simply like that , like other engines !
Why having a SO GREAT restriction on skeleton, i've never seen that on other 3D engines.
Or we should have the choice, keep restricted convention or go to a simple totally free way to import any model style and skeleton and just play animation by calling it's name throught a function call.
For mobile games, really too much bones per character wil mean indeed a cost in CPU/GPU, it's useless, specially on games where second characters or npc , etc ... don't need a precise hand/fingers skeleton and no gesture is needed.
I'm a bit surprised (a lot) about that convention !

RE: FBX support :
I don't understand what restriction you are talking about.
You can import .fbx , simply drag and drop the file inside model editor window.
