Brush does not accept second Material
Hi,
I've just found Esenthel on the Internet and I am amazed, confused and baffled.
Well my confusion is because of the handling.
I tried to build a world, nothing happened first.
solved that issue, very often not the program but the user is the problem, but now a second confusing "error" occurs:
whenever I build my world and start "painting", nothing will happen.
I added the grass material, because I wanted to make my world full of gras. not actual game making process, just figuring everything out.
First nothing happens. I cannot even make it to paint a simple color.
So please, help me.
I know I must seem very, well let's say stupid :-D, but damn it, I really cannot find anything I'm doing wrong. -.-

RE: Brush does not accept second Material
Hi Kev,
It is hard to tell from your description, but I am assuming you are having trouble with using the RIGHT mouse button instead of the left. It gets a little confusing for me some times.
There are two pieces
1) Adding new areas
-To do this, go to the world editor, click on Terrain
-Click the Del / Add button
-Drag the material you want into the little box next to it.
-Now paint it on with the RIGHT mouse button, remove with left.
2) Setting material - If you want to change materials from 1 to another
-unclick the Del/Add button
-Drag the material you want into the Material Brush at the bottom
- Left click on the material you want from the Material Brush
-Now you can paint on the material with the RIGHT mouse button. Clicking the left mouse button will actuall apply the material under the mouse to the brush (like color picker).
Hope this helps, it took me some getting used to as well.

RE: Brush does not accept second Material
well using the right mouse button shows the brush but nothing painted ...
Trust me, I feel very stupid asking this question, but one does not go forward if one does not ask questions (or something like that ...)
what confuses me even more is the fact, that in the world-example in the tutorial it is the same ....
EDIT:
to solve the problem: Del/add button is a tricky thing to use .... one has to click on it ...
thousnad thanks to you!
