Opinions on lighting
I know it all depends on the situation, but for anyone who has tested out the performance difference between many lights on a small scale or largely scaled lights but fewer.
With my game, it is entirely indoors and at night which gives me no need to use directional lighting. I have also tried lightmapping but it made any dynamic light (i.e. flashlight) pointless, since each texture is multiplied and the lightmap is nearly black! lol
So now, I am just looking for opinions on what seemed to work for others since we all can learn from each others' mistakes (err.. lightscale/quantity)
