I am the most of the day behind a proxy which only allows http and https. Here the connection to the server fails and I stuck with the demo-version nag box.

Is there any way how I can use the proxy in esenthel? It would make my live much easier.

The license check is in fact a HTTP TCP/IP based request.

Sorry, I've never investigated anything related to proxies, so don't know much about them.

Did you consider using mobile hotspot from your phone, just to check the license?

Perhaps the mobile hotspot is a possibility. Another one I considered is VPN connection to get outside. This would also allow me to connect to my dedicated server.
