New Tutorial
Hello! I am working in Esenthel again and am re-learning the engine. Anyway, I am really impressed by how far it has come in the last year.
I posted this tutorial in another section but wanted to post it in a couple of places. It is really basic but it helps me document what I am learning.
By the way, I thought I saw a special forum just for tutorials?
Inserting and texturing the terrain
Loading a texture into the World Editor
Thanks!

RE: New Tutorial
I was able to create another tutorial. I am really learning to love Camtasia Studio! I edited my original post so it now contains both links.

RE: New Tutorial
you're doing the 2nd tutorial wrong, the textures that you've used doesn't go into separate slots.
you need to drag and drop them together to the ME window - check documentation

RE: New Tutorial
Will do, thanks for the clarification. However, everytime I drag all the textures together the normal map goes to the diffuse slot and my texture turns blue. I will try it again and record it if it won't work.
I will check it and then re-make it.
Besides the workflow being wrong is the outcome the same?

RE: New Tutorial
I've just tested moving 4 textures at once (diffuse, normal, specular, bump) and it works ok, (the normal doesn't go to diffuse slot)
are you using an old engine version?
could you send me your textures so I could check this manually?

RE: New Tutorial
I will send you the textures later on when I get home from work. Also, I just downloaded it again last week and then ran the updater.
I am using 4 .jpg files, could that be the issue? I can try some other formats. Also, I will run the updater again.
