Latest update fps drop.
I just updated engine and on the exact same settings etc. fps for some reason dropped more than 20. from 70-50ish
This update I think included last four updates you had there.
Any idea why something like this might occur?

There was added Renderer.blend_objects_affect_depth_based effects (read in version history and in member comments) which can affect performance, you can disable it for old behaviour
vertex index buffer settings for 2d graphics was changed (but this actually improved performance)
some minor changes to render target and depth buffer management, but I don't think this affected performance

tried blend_objects thingy..
Did not really fix the problem.. Have to investigate some more.

I've checked old ERPG2 build and it had 44 fps on my laptop, and new ERPG2 build (latest SDK) has also 44 fps

Problem must be related to something else then..
I was btw wondering if the quality of conelight shadows can be improved at anyway?
The quality difference between angle 2 sized conelight and pointlight are wayyy too huge.

angle=2 should give 2xbigger shadow pixels than angle=1 (it's only natural)

could it be that angle 2 or 3 would be the normal size and going higher than that would give bigger pixels?

maybe I'll be able to optionally increase up to 2x the resolution of lightcone shadowmaps (I'll check this soon)
