I've made some research on this and there were some clues that this may be a bug in xorg-server. I believe this is the official bug: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53897

So, i've installed on my system (debian "wheezy") xserver-xorg-core package and dependencies from testing repository (for the next release of debian - "jessie"), and now it works OK
