Average Bandwidth kbps recommendation
How average bandwidth send/receive kbps are considered too much for online usage?
Also, are both send/receive matter or only send/receive?
Right now, testing with 20 NPCs and 2 clients (1 host, 1 join) at 15 FPS (not sure if it affect)
average bandwidth are Receives ~42.38 kb/5s and Sends ~17.13kb/5s (using same as MMO Source)

said Counter-Strike uses about 40kbps, which means send 200kb/5s is still okay?

RE: Average Bandwidth kbps recommendation
no in the case of counter strike I highly suspect they mean 40kbps per player. the server needs 600kbps line to maintain 15 players when its peaking. The server however they tested against was locked at a 40tickrate(hence their 40kbps conclusion), which is unsuitable for counter strike servers(hit detection reasons), they are usually at 66+ tick needing a 1mbps line on the server.
a typical mmo which has autotargeting(doesn't rely on raycast hit detection like counter strike does) they usually tend to be between 15 and 30 tickrate.(15-30 updates per second) counter strike servers usually pushes 66+ updates per second.
