I apologize in advance for lacking some knowledge about the engine.

We use the Essenthel engine in class for program classes with CPP and we need to study for an exam this Monday.

We got an example solution for a project but it won't load the project when I try to import it to Essenthel. A window pops up that says: ''Can't load selected project''.
The project is a *.EssenthelProject file.

I'm using Visual Studio 2017 with Windows XP support but I'm not sure which version of Essenthel we're using. I'm fairly certain we're using an older version because the projects in class will not work with the updated version.

I really hope I can be helped further here because my teacher is not responding.

The version number can be obtained by using the "M" menu \ "About"
latest version is 58

If it's a very old engine version, then it can't open newer projects.

Have you tried using the latest version from http://www.esenthel.com/?id=store ?
