RE: How long you are programming in C++?
I started fiddling with C++ in 1987, when I got my hands on Stroustrup's book.
That would be some 24 years ago... Geez, I'm getting old!
Anyway, I couldn't use it "professionally" until 1998-99 because it took way too long to get standarized (ANSI).
You know, there are companies and development environments which won't adopt a non-standard language, method or paradigm...
