RE: Cry engine 3
well they made a lot of improvements to the physics too... the breaking terrains should be much better now.

Sweet, but they aren't giving it out to individuals. EE is the best indi game engine.

I want to put 5 thousands light points, 50 characters and 10 low-poly tree models in 80m radius in Esenthel. EE should have a huge value of fps, shouldn't it?
My computer:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2x 2.50GHz x64
nVidia GeForce 9800GT 512RAM
4GB Ram
500GB Hard Disc
Vista x64
If EE can't do it on my computer, Esenthel should optimize graphics But EE is 3x better than CE3 and 4x better than CE2

Or lets just say EE is 1902x times cheaper
Sys: Intel Quad @3.4 Ghz, ATI HD 5770 OC Ed (pri), NVIDIA 8800 Ultra (PhysX), 4 Gig Ram, 3.8 TB total HDD.

RE: Cry engine 3
that wouldn't really make sense :/
yeah, Esenthel engine is great, but there is no way it can stand up against CryEngine... it would be like butterfly VS lion.
anyway looking at the price im gonna go with Esenthel engine

RE: Cry engine 3
CE3 Price will most likely be around 1~1.5 million$ pr title and will include royalties (usually 5-8%).
EE Is Free / 200$ (and its still under developement, give it time).
However, do wish you would have gotten alot more source with EE, to do inhouse optimizations, wich is required for some games, i guess its a tradeoff for the price (EE really need speed improvements soon, as people are starting to work on games with it, its actually quite important, specially if your searching for funds ect)
Anyways, thats enough comparison for me
