please make sure that you have 1 orientation keyframe set in at least one animation applied to head body bodyu neck bones (for example "stand")
auto rotating bones will work only if 1 orientation keyframe is set
if it wont help, please post what modifications you apply to the Chr::sac
and the code for your animate method

yeah this must be it.. i will test this as soon as i get back to my computer.
at least this sounds something that could cause the behavior.
