If I may ask, it would be nice if we could externally set the paths (engine.pak for example) for tools so we could have personalized project layout

you can keep tools in SDK

custom project data in some other folder

but at start of tools point the data path to custom data folder (you'll need to delete path.txt first in tools folder)

If you want the data path to your custom data folder to be a relative path, just edit the path.txt file entering the relative path rather than deleting that file.
