Fixed function (OpenGL) renderer coming to PC too?
I just saw that serious work is being invested in writing a Mac and iPhone OpenGL ports of the engine.
Will OpenGL rendering be available for Win/PC too? What about a basic non-shader requiring fixed function renderer? To allow note-/netbooks to run Esenthel Engine applications?
Or will SM 2.0 always be a requirement for PC?

RE: Fixed function (OpenGL) renderer coming to PC too?
OpenGL for Mac and iPhone works just like renderer on PC, it's not fixed-function, it's shader based.

The iPhone supports shaders? Hmm.
So now low-spec renderer coming?

iPhone 3GS has support for OpenGL ES 2.0 so yes
renderers stay the same
