Glass Effects
A cheap way to implement glass effects with the tech available at the moment is fake it as highly reflective/dense water. If microplanes of water could be created we could easily have effects such as the few below but on a "micro" scale. Then ability to move/rotate the water surfaces would make glass movable, and then can be potentially used in glass destruction.
At the moment only the "Ocean" has correct angular reflection and "lakes/rivers" only have vertical reflection effects.
Any thoughts?

I mean if we would be able just to specify say a 4 vertex plane of ocean water with a very thin depth we would be able to have not only mirrors but glass with adjustable transparency, of course at the moment the setting's we'd set for water would affect all such planes but if a separate class would be created we'd be able to have glass/mirror effects painlessly, but as far as meshes go it's a different story I'm sure.
I know reflection effects for meshes is on the roadmap, but I'm just throwing idea's out there
