I am programming i C++ about 2 Years.

11 Months here.

Before i found Esenthel, i barely touched C++. I am going to say i programmed in c++ for about 4 months.

I've been doing 2D programming for about 7 months.

4 years but still I don't know everything

in c++ 10-15 years I think

i believe Esenthel began with programming at the moment he had a computer xD

The last 4-5 years C++ and before that around 5 years PHP.
I started with Qbasic as first language that is like 14 years ago

And still enough to learn

Esenthel very long. If i can ask how long you are writing Engine?

Good question heh, luckily I was browsing photos for someone the other day and found this:

Look at the book at the left of the screen I think that was about '00 when it was taken, but got the book in '96. I remember selling my drum kit to get the computer..!

The book is The Beginner's Guide to C++ But it was a terrible read, mainly teaching C - although I didn't know this at the time, I spent most of the time dealing with Boreland C++ issues back then.

Before then, this was my 2nd computer. The one before that.. I can't remember the name, but it definitely didn't have a CD drive I remember having to press the mouse with the palm of my hand, because it was too stiff... xD

so you are programming about 10 years ??

I didn't code all the time, probably C++ for 1 year in '96, Pascal for 2 years in '98, RM2000 for 3 years & ASM for 3 years at school in electronics until '05, then Java for 4 years at uni & C++ for about 5 years in spare time. Missing out some other lesser languages in between.

I dont understand why in schools they just learn. Pascal, ASM, etc.. Teachers never teach c/c++.

in most schools it's all about Java.. -.-

Now I have Pascal and C at school Then I'll have some elements of C++ and Java.

I go to computer school next year.
