I cant wait This game is really nice. Finish it quickly and return to working on engine. Roadmap and feature request list is long. I'm worried, it gets longer, some features are on roadmap longer than year, but some of them are done after few days of publishing them on roadmap. But...
Esenthel, you are the best! Just continue extending engine... eh just do what you are doing

Well, he is extending the engine with what he learns from this project, at the same time he is profiling speed etc while at it. ^^

i wonder... maybe this game would bring voxel terrains to the engine. game looks like it would be needing voxel terrains.

I hope so too. Voxel terrains would really make this engine stand out. I don't think any other engines offer a voxel system.

I don't think there is any doing 'pure' voxel terrain which is available for license however quite a few engines has voxel based terrain that is.. changes is done through voxels and then a final mesh is generated from it.

your reply totally didnt make sense =\ Anyhow i speculated in this direction because early screens looked very much like minecraft clone (terrain made of cubes). i think this game would be a valid case to implement voxel terrain support.

The real difficulty with voxel terrains is that most 3D graphics cards aren't optimised for the maths involved.
Of course, you could always do as zervox suggests and generate a mesh from a terrain generated by voxels. Mapping textures is difficult though (I've tried)

IMO voxel is unnecessary. And I doubt you will see voxel terrain in this project.

Yeah, I saw roadmap and finished things but few screens should give new excitement and salivation ^^

From the Roadmap it looks like Esenthel's developing behind the scene's features since the last update so a screen shot might not be appropriate at this time

Some posts were removed due to offtopic - this is Ineisis discussion.
If you have opinion about engine you can send it via PM to me.
Engine development is not abandoned, for now I want to focus on early version of Ineisis Alpha - almost ready. After that I will work on Ineisis and Esenthel simultaneously. Besides, please don't keep asking for new features in Esenthel, I know about it already by myself. Also - summer came, so enjoy the sun for a while!
