it would be cool with a update client for Esenthel engine!
like you open up a program, and it would automaticly check for newer version, and ask if you want to update!

If installer would also install new engine in Visual Studio, then it makes sense for me.

checking server for a new version, downloading, and setting up folders, shouldnt be a verry complicated task... i think :/

the most difficult would be adding support for .rar files (automatically extracting from them)
then detecting visual studio installation path (this should be easier)
the rest is just copying files which would be simple

the idea is good of course, and I'll probably implement it, but right now I'm working on increasing shader loading speed (I'm on good tracks on doing that )

there are already heaps of ready made update programs out there that will unpackage the files exactly where specified...
