RE: fbx animation import: low accuracy
it just looks so. but then why it normally animated in blender and in other engines? actually i previously see almost the same problem after import to shiva3d...it was blender exporter problem: in fbx file there was weight for some verticles more than 1. for example 1.3 and engine set weight to this verticles 0.0. i manually change weight those time

somebody can check import fbx animation?

if some vertex will be with 0 weight(no one bone influence) then for example some points at hands will not be moving atall. but it moving by wrong path...i think this means that it's wrong influence.

hmm...it strange my another old models fbx works/imported correctly...

RE: fbx animation import: low accuracy
Hi,

Can you attach the fbx file?
The engine will automatically normalize the weights for the vertices.
So even if you have 1.3 weight it will be fixed to 1.0
If you have 2 weights 2.0 and 4.0 they will be normalized to 0.33 and 0.66 so the sum is 1

If the weight is zero or less then it is ignored

type fbx is not allowed for attachments

RE: fbx animation import: low accuracy
I'm uploading the fix right now, the issue was a combination of using more than 60 bones and 3 or more vertex bone influences in your model.

Tip: You might want to tone down a bit with the number of bones, 142 seems like an overkill, especially if you're targeting mobile platforms. I'm sure you could go down to 30-40 bones for that kind of a model.
