I've been using Esenthel Engine for 4 years now and I must admit it's an awsome engine.
Though, I'm still using Esenthel Engine 1.0. I would really like to buy a license and change to Esenthel 2.0 since it has more features than the previous version, but there are 2 things that keep me from doing it.
1. Lack of possibility to use file names
I understand that you added converting file names to UIDs to ease the process of creating games for some developers, but for complex projects(especially the one which are having many procedural(not hard-coded) features) it's a huge inconvenience. I have many codes that I developed throughout past 4 years and they all depend of having file names and own directories structure available.
I'm not asking you to remove current system, but to add possibility to use editor the old way with saving to where we need.
What is more, I'm not alone in this request. I've seen threads like this already on Esenthel community.(Example:
http://esenthel.com/community/showthread.php?tid=7457)
2. Putting all the files in one PAK when publishing the game
It's a huge problem for big projects. What about an application that weights ~10GB. It would have awfully big pak. It's not efficient and doesn't looks good. If we look at professional developers with years of experiance, we can see that they never store all the data in one package. Especially in big projects.
It wouldn't be a problem, if I could use my own directories structure and file names since I already have developed a complex publishing tool for Esenthel Engine 1.0.
The same as before, I'm not alone in this request. Other developers discussed it with you in this thread:
http://esenthel.com/community/showthread.php?tid=7470
To sum it all up, in my opinion this two features would make a GREAT addition to the engine making it suitable for everyone. I'm not asking you to do this for free(Although it would be VERY nice
), since Esenthel Engine is a commercial project of yours, but you can set up a contribution and I'm sure it would be a success.
Thank you for taking some time to read my thoughts.

Kacper
