Project Genom
Hi. We are indie team from Russia.
Esenthel engine seems awesome. It looks like perfect engine for mmorpg.
Only one question bothers me - why nobody made success mmorpg?
Our art: (a small portion)

RE: Project Genom
Hi and welcome!
The answer is simple: Because it takes so much work to create an MMO with Esenthel.
You'll still have to program a lot of systems for GUI, chat, ...
There are a couple of teams working on MMO's with Esenthel, I'm sure they can give you some more information!

RE: Project Genom
First version of the game we made with torque3d, but got a lot of problems on the 4th closed test, such as traffic, server failures in the processing of collisions, streaming static and dynamic objects and more. The early first version can be seen on this video.
Now we are doing on the own game engine, and it looks like this. But the development is very, very, very slowly.
I discovered esenthel yesterday and now it looks very interesting for me. I would like to learn more about the engine, its weaknesses (everyone has them) and pitfalls))

Fantastic work on assets, welcome!
Well, esenthel engine is not as popular as some out there, and very few develop on it as you can see. We use it for 16 months now, and i can say that it is as powerful as any out there, and takes some time to get used to it.
You do need more coding than you would actually do in lets say, Unity, but we choose it because of control and speed.

Wow! I love the concept and scope of your project. I spent a bit of time exploring your web site. To have developed your assets and engine to the point you have is fantastic.
It would be great to see this running on Esenthel; but either way I wish you guys and this project success for the future. You have great vision and potential
