Is this only available in the source version?
Because I've been waiting for several days to see the bone editor and it's still missing. Same with this one.
Also, these features are just imported from EE 1.0, right? The skeleton painting at least didn't seem to bring any improvements. (Will we be able to merge multiple skinnings from different bones for an object?)

Excellent! with this plus skel bone editor from earlier update, I can do bone and animation stuff using editor.
Can't wait for an update to available.

Another great new... can't wait to see it in Linux too, as for this platform the last update was a month ago :(

Windows binary already has the bones and animation editor, Mac will soon follow. As for Linux then it will definitely arrive but sorry it will still take some time
The features aren't just imported from 1.0. I've rewrote them, they're much more user friendly than in 1.0
Skinning editor allows you to manually adjust per vertex skinning using mouse, which last 1.0 version didn't have.
note: In the version history I always specify which platforms have been updated
