Hi,

When I set a random color value to a leaf material, the colors are applied, but when I then click on the image to set the leaf attachment (to have the leaves moving), the random colors are no longer visible on the leaves.
If I then click the button 'Del Leaf Attachment', the random colors are visible again. Did I miss something here?

I tried this an initially had the same issue as you. Having selected Random Color I then clicked on the leaf attachment to add movement and the random color disappeared!

So I deleted the leaf attachment and clicked on Set Random Bending and this time it worked, retaining the random color. From that point onwards I couldn't get it to fail. I could delete all settings and select Random Color then a Leaf attachment and it worked! Strange!

I tried the workaround you describe, but from the moment I click to set the leaf attachment, the random colors keep disappearing.

Ah, I think I know what else I did now.

I switched the technique from Leaf (which doesn't work) to Blend Light Leaf which appears to. Not sure why this is the case but it explains how I managed to get it working but then couldn't get it to fail again!

Thank you for reporting the issue, I was able to reproduce it, and will investigate this now.

"Blend Light Leaf" and "Test Blend Light Leaf" material techniques work OK.
"Leaf" is missing a shader for the colored variation, I'll add it for next release.
