Re: Bump mapping with forward shading
mm.. i dont need any bumps in the editor it self.. just wondering about if i set up a mesh that has a mtrl file including bump map..
does using that need some special commands? im seeing some action in the maps when changing bumpmode flat/normal.. but the normals are much weaker than in mesh editor..
and btw hi new user here. evulating a bit.

Re: Bump mapping with forward shading
Hi,
You don't need to do anything special.
All there is to do is set mesh with a material containing the bump, save the mesh.
Then in the game set bump mapping to normal or parallax or relief. (the mesh editor has parallax mapping by default)
PS: Hi and welcome to the forum

Re: Bump mapping with forward shading
yeah.. some of my scene setup was fading the effect out a bit i think.. anyway i think they are working fine now..
thanks for the very prompt aswers gives me aa good feeling about this engine.
Im was working on a small penumbra type puzzle game with leadwerks engine and decided to try this one out since im not much of a coder and i know things like
rag dolls, pathfinding and such will give me lots of difficulties..
heres what the game looked on leadwerks so far..
ive almost got the same situation now with esenthel.. have to figure out the mirror tho
