I am using Vista 64-bit with Visual Studio 2008, the autoupdate tool cannot copy usertype.dat, how to fix it?

are you sure it doesn't copy it?
I've just tested it, and it copied the file fine.
I have vista 64 too, VS 2008 EE.

do you get some error message?
or the file isn't present in the target location (..\common7\ide\usertype.dat) ?
do you have it in source location "sdk\installation\usertype.dat" ?

Yes I got an error message 'Error copying "usertype.dat" to Visual Studio folder.'
the usertype.dat is in both target location, and source location.
Is it a security issue?

edit: The Autoupdate run successfully when I run it as Administrator.

thanks for the info, ill check it

in the latest version ive updated the tool to show a hint "run as admin" if the error occurs.
