Where is the problem with money on this end? U don't need any license or i'm wrong? not sure on Metal but with Vulcan and OpenGL im sure u don't need this. What is with contributors for this open source project? ... slow progress > no progress ^^ or what I miss understand?

The engine on its own doesn't generate enough income for me to keep focusing on the engine-only things.
So I'm focusing on making games, and I add things to the engine based on what I need for the games at the moment.
