looks great though it could be better. somehow it seems to me that water in the engine is not next-gen (not enough) like some other things.

dont take this as critics but like advice grin. i have seen almost realistic water in some other engine that are not superior like this one.

oh, and a...under the features list, you wrote that the engine supports SM 3.0 but i'd like to know if any of tutorials are using it.

If your card supports Shader Model 3.0 then it's automatically used in the engine.
Effects that benefit from SM30 are:
-volumetric lighting
-better soft shadows
-relief mapping
-better motion blur
-better ambient occlusion
-better world terrain materials blending
-volumetric clouds
-hardware shadow mapping
-better depth of field

that's what i wanted to hear. so if i dont have sm3.0 card, i cant see the clouds (that's why asked if it uses sm3 cause i thought that maybe the problem was somehow created by me). okay, then everything is fine, thanks...
